Within the past year or so, I have just begun exploring the world of make-up. I wore make up since high school, but I never knew how. I have never been to a MAC counter for a color match, my mom didn't teach me how to apply eye shadow, my eyelashes are stick straight and I have a lazy eye so you would assume I was a walking mess. Well, maybe prior to 2010 I was.
This look I am wearing is pretty much my everyday make-up. It is comprised of all drugstore cosmetics and techniques from YouTube gurus (such as Xteeener & Frmheadtotoe).
Here are the products I used to get my look:
FACE
Revlon Color Stay (Oily/Combination) | #180 Sand Beige
Milani The MultiTasker Face Powder | #04 Light Tan
NYC Bronzer | Sunny
elf Studio Blush | Tickled Pink
EYES
JK Jemma Kid I-Design Eyeshadow | Silhouette Bone Ivory
NYX The Runway Collection Palette | Champaign and Caviar
NYX Gel Eyeliner | Jet Black
Volum' Express The Falsies Mascara | Waterproof Blackest Black
Eyebrow Cake Powder | Dark Brown
You can clearly see that my eyebrows could use some help and I am at the point where I might have to have some professional help with those bad boys. I do not tend to wear false eyelashes but I will not leave the house without curling my eyelashes and mascara.
What are some of your everyday look products?
Love the Elf studio blushes! They are just plain awesome :) I use the Anastasia Brow Wiz and Brow Gel everyday, I haven't really explored the drugstore options and have found a better option yet :/

I will have to look into the Anastasia brow products. I do hear they are wonderful!
DeleteLoved this post; you look so beautiful, and I love the winged liner.
ReplyDeleteWe have such a similar makeup background and one of my eyes is on the lazy side too.
I'm defiantly subscribing! I can't wait for more posts from you :)

@Nikki - Thank you so much. It's pretty crazy how makeup can help hide a lazy eye. I still need some practice, but I'm slowly getting better. *Hugs*
ReplyDeleteI am really loving the NYC bronzer in Sunny lately!! Great post!

I use the Revlon foundation and I love it so much! I've had to start my blog all again and I have lost everything so I would really appreciate it if you could check it out. Thank you so much if you do.
