I am in late twenties (yikes!) and live in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest (a suburb of Seattle to be exact). I am from South Korea but raised in the United States. I live with my entrepreneur husband and too-smart-for-her-own-good daughter, Boo. My husband has adopted my fur baby, Chloe.
My life's goal has been to become a teacher. I worked very hard and completed my education and became a first grade teacher and loved it! While teaching, my life's second goal was growing in my uterus. My hubby and I decided that with a teacher's salary, it would be the best for me to stay at home with my daughter. During her early life, she and I would spend our days with other little friends. At the end of 2012, I was presented with an opportunity to possibly go back to work, so all of our friends departed to brighter futures. Unfortunately my new opportunity did not work out as hoped, but now I have more time to spend with my family. And with that, I needed find creative and frugal ways for our family to still maintain a fun, productive and somewhat-creative atmosphere.
So here we are... welcome to my tale of a beginner seamstress and budget-friendly, inspiring-fashionista mom. Being on a blog for all the world to see is a somewhat scary idea, as I have always tried to hide my personal life from others, but with life beginning to flow it's natural course, this blog might be a self-image revolution for myself.
